Walk Off Into First

The Red Sox bullpen couldn’t save an outstanding start from Curt Schilling. But David McCarty’s walk off homer in the 12th inning sent the fans home happy in a 9-7 Sox win. Bob Hohler, Sean McAdam, and Jeff Horrigan have game stories. Paul Harbor explains that McCarty was zoned in on that pitch and got it right where he wanted it.
