In regards to Buckner, Edes should have pointed out in his blog or in yesterday's Notes that Buckner has already returned twice to Fenway to large ovations. Yet he needed radio callers and xjack on Sons of Sam Horn to fill him in? The people who didn't know the full Buckner history are the idiot Red Sox Nation fans. I have more respect for the guy who cannot let go of '86, however warped that person may be, than for the fan who believes that Buckner was finally 'forgiven' on Tuesday.
