If you watch Plaschke at all on Around the Horn, hearing claiming Pierce was faking his injury shouldn't surprise you in the least. But it is peculiar that someone as usually well-prepared as Rusillo would resort to this. I wouldn't call him a sacred cow, but he must have either had some inside information by a reporter who was there or he was simply having a bad night on the air. If we continue to see this kind of analysis from Rusillo on a regular basis then maybe we ought to start questioning his peformance, otherwise for now I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.
