Pedroia is overrated as hell but with the campaign waged by Gammons, McMullan and the sports guy Bill Simmons how could he lose. When I first started watching Gammons I didnt know he was from Boston But ever since the Sox won in 04 you cant get him to stop rooting, between him and Wendi Nix aka Mrs Bosox asst. g.m. ESPN has become NESNPN. Look at the numbers, Arod had a down year for him yet killed pedey in every important offensive category. What really pissed me off was how manny got buried when he left, but your 0 for 88 without him bums. Has been never was Tim McCarver said it was his job as reporter to talk about manny with the sox yet manny had left the team about 2.5 months before McCarver’s rant. Could it possibbly be he needed to draw attention to himself and his network before the playoffs started. The idiot nation takes comfort that they came back in 04 and won in 07 like thats supposed to wash away the blundering and stupidity of nearly a century. The fact you guys ran off a hall of famer for fake ass tough guy kevin yucklis is beyond me but you’re used to screwing over people just ask Nomar that was dirty. Don’t forget Duquette signed all the main guys on the 04 team. Remember in hindsight he was right about Clemens. Bottom line The yanks are the greatest franchise the known universe has ever seen. Everybody else is just playing for second place. The truth effing hurts wicked bad.
