We’re still without electricity and the snow is flying up here at BSMW Headquarters, but that’s not going to stop the morning links today…
The NFL announced the Pro Bowl starters and reserves yesterday, and two Patriots found themselves on the AFC roster, wide receiver Wes Welker was named as a reserve, and placekicker Stephen Gostkowski is the starter at his position.
Mike Reiss says that both players are especially deserving of the honor. Eric McHugh has a further look at the two first time Pro Bowlers. John Tomase has Welker saying that when the coach called him into his office yesterday afternoon, he thought he was in trouble. Mark Farinella has more on the two Patriot selections. Daniel Barbarisi says that it is quite a difference from last season’s eight Pro Bowlers for the Patriots.

Celtics
The Celtics 15 game winning streak will face a stiff test tonight as they travel to Atlanta to take on the pesky Hawks. Marc J. Spears has the Hawks website getting fans up for this one.
