There was even a reference to Margo in a 2003 story...on the Patriots' training camp. So today he reflects sympathy for Boggs because his wasn't the capital crime that everyone else made it out to be. It's more hypocritical than ironic. Today's column employs one of Shaughnessy's favorite devices: he knows everyone hates Arod so he takes the contrarian viewpoint to get attention. Lame.
