Red Sox Productions, the Boston Red Sox’ in-house television and video production group, has been nominated for 7 Boston/New England Emmy Awards by the Boston/New England Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. This is the highest number of nominations received by Red Sox Productions in four years of entering the competition. Since 2005, Red Sox Productions has received 22 nominations and took home its first Emmy last year with a win in the Editor Program category.
For this year, the group was nominated in each of the following categories: Historical/Cultural Program, Feature/Segment; Historical/Cultural Program, Program/Special; Sports Series; Magazine Program, Feature/Segment; and Sports Feature/Segment.
The 32nd Boston/New England Emmy Awards will be presented at the Boston Marriott Copley Place on Saturday, May 30, 2009.
