Without a career totally independent of the Red Sox, it's probably unfortunate that Mrs. Henry comes across as someone who married for the wrong reasons. For all intense and purposes, perception is nine-tenths of reality. On a few unrelated notes, I bet Gil never thought after retiring as morning sports guy at WBZ he'd wind up back at those call letters again. Looks like this afternoon is probably the swan song for the Winter/Vallee/Lobel show (and the Young Guns late night show) on 890 AM, with the frequency dropping its ESPN programming. Still curious where Mike & Mike and the rest of ESPN Radio's programming will be heard on the Boston radio dial come Monday morning. And I wonder if the Basketball Hall of Fame ever gave any thought to holding their induction ceremony on a day other than 9-11. Are the events of eight years ago still fresh in our minds?
