It was a slugfest, but the Celtics fought through and held off the Los Angeles Lakers last night at the Staples Center, 87-86.
Many will point out that the Lakers were playing without Kobe Bryant, but I don’t hear those same people cutting the Celtics any slack when they play without KG or Pierce.
