NESN To Air Both Bruins/Maple Leafs and Hockey East Championship

I apologize for the lack of regular links this morning – work emergency.

With both the Hockey East Championship game and the Bruins/Maple Leafs on the schedule for Saturday night, NESN will activate NESNPlus for that evening, so that both games can be broadcast live.

The Bruins vs. Maple Leafs game will be seen on NESN throughout New England while live coverage of the Hockey East championship game from TD Garden will be available on NESNplus throughout New England. Outside New England, Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks will carry the Hockey East championship game on NESN National while DirecTV and Dish Network will carry the game nationally on NESNplus.

  • Todd

With two shows airing, (two separate revenue streams) does that mean the production people at NESN working on Sat. night will get a little something extra for the effort?

    • GoTerriers

They'll get no money. But on their death beds they'll receive total consciousness. So they've got THAT going for them . . .

      • Thomas

With Sean McGrail and Ray Guilbault at the helm, they'll get their money!

  • Jon

They're going to count the Providence ratings for both stations.

Thank you, thank you, I'll be here all week. Try the veal.

  • tl;dr

    Meh

  • Winning

Who wins in a fight, Glen Ordway or Michael Felger?

    • tl;dr

Glen Ordway. He's got a lower center of gravity and would be hard to get down. Sure, Felger's got reach on him and is younger but I think in the end the "Big O" would win. Opinion, not fact!

    • Lance_

Rocky II but without either of them getting up. But that's just a fantasy.

    • Jon

Felger would have "the Wood" distract Ordway and cheat shot him with a his vintage Brett Favre helmet to pick up the win. Fact, not opinion.
Holley destroys Mazz, and Callahan headbutts Fred Toucher into submission in the undercard. DA vs Mikey Adams is canceled when the Mothership runs over Manny.

      • Tony

Do you guys really think that Felger would want to mess up his perfect hair and his manicure by getting down and dirty with Ordway? I would predict Ordway by default.
