For giggles, I looked at what NESN has scheduled up against this. You would think that NESN would be streaming live all day instead of showing 10 repeats of DirtyWaterTV or an EPL game. A rough breakdown using titantv.com of what NESN has on at the same time:

Monday: 30minutes of Hotstove Live (6-6:30) because 6:30 will be Bruins Pregame and then the actual game. So, 30 minutes to 120. No harm here because they do have the Bruins.

Tuesday: Ditto the next day except for showing more repeats and then a rerun of the hockeygame. 30 minutes, rerun a few times, against 120 minutes.

Wednesday: Same. Live 6-6:30, repeat at 6:30, then, finally something different: English Premier League Soccer NESN – 51 – Wed, 12/07, 7:00 PM 2 hrs . Boom.

Does NESN bother competing anymore? I've got to assume they can just show Bruins/RedSox games and the advertising revenue alone could keep it afloat.
